it's august 29, 2004. i just went through most of my photos and picked out some of the ones that 'spoke' to me, yet didn't have enough 'friends' to warrant an entire page.

and now... in the order i clicked on them and saved them...

my neighbor's house on fire (a year or two ago)! (electrical wiring... no one was hurt...)

a lot of firetrucks came to check out this fire, even though they only used one to put it out.

at school, i had red christmas lights up.

i also made macaroni in the microwave from time to time.
but our REAL room special was microwaved magazines.

i put some astroturf in my closet because i didn't know what else to do with it. i had used some of it for my plant costume. (see some past halloween... the one with peewee herman as the icon, i think.)

those are from a long long time ago, right after he got a haircut. i <3 boys with fresh haircuts.

this is a slide from a picture i took in fiji. i accidentally used slide film.... so i got no actual prints. LUCKILY though, when i took photography at ucsc, there was a day when we used slides to make photo transfers. so i sortof have prints now.

once upon a time, rachael's dog broke her leg and had to get a cast. and i dunno why...... but that little dog with that pink cast really cracks me up!
